The Giant Freshwater Stingray is one of the largest freshwater fish in the world, native to Southeast Asia’s rivers. With a broad, flat body and a whip-like tail that may carry a venomous barb, it can reach lengths over 16 feet. Despite its intimidating appearance, it is a shy bottom-dweller that feeds on crustaceans and small fish.
