In real life, the recessive genes for white coloration in tigers came from the Bengal tiger subspecies; however, white tigers are often hybridized and erroneously or falsely described as being members of the Siberian subspecies due to their larger size and snowier habitat.

This file uses the ingame White Bengal tiger, which better matches the ingame Siberian tiger’s larger proportions, and reuses these existing graphics as a new White Siberian tiger animal that has the same habitat preferences and stats as the ingame Siberian tiger, making them fully compatible and mixed exhibit-friendly!

An earlier version of this file was released at Zoo Admin in 2005; this version has been bugfixed and has a new icon and plaque courtesy of VND.
